A balanced diet consists of the correct proportions of food that have the appropriate nutrients and energy. It is very important to eat more carbohydrates as the body requires more carbohydrates then it does fat. There are many medical conditions that are associated with poor diet, a common problem is malnutrition. Malnutrition occurs when people do not eat a balanced diet.
