Marijuana should be legalised for medicinal purposes- Marijuana as medicine has been studied for many years, although not in great depth it has still been studied. In some cultures, it is already used as a form of medicine, and it stems back from many generations. There are many reasons for marijuana to be legalized for medicinal purposes. It is a known fact that THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, and other cannabinoid's have a direct effect on pain signals in the central nervous system, whether taken in a capsule or by cigarette, while also reducing effects of nausea and vomiting. The problem is that in order for marijuana to be used as a medicine, it must first be legalized. Marijuana is more effective than conventional drugs in many instances. Denying cannabis treatment to the sick and dying is cruel and unnecessary. The terminally ill patients marijuana use, does not pose a threat...
