He should be using and be encouraged to develop his gross motor skills. At this age Morgan should be able to position his head on the side, arm or his leg outstretched. He should be able to turn from their side to their back. This means that if you lye tem on their side they should be able to move their body on to their back. He should have ventral suspension which means his head in line with his body and his hips extended. Morgan is only six weeks old so won't be able to sit but should be able to be pulled up into the sitting position.
