Psychologists have found out several things about the relationship between patients and health workers. Such as the appearance of a doctor really matters to the patient. McKinstry & Wang done a study where they found out that the patient will trust the doctor more if he/she is professionally dressed rather then casually dressed. Taylor (1999) suggests that a doctor may act distant with one patient and friendly to the other. Some times Depending on the characteristics of the patient. Also good communication may make the doctor sensitive, not good for making tuff decisions. Doctors already have to be on top of all the medical information making good communication with patients make there lives more complicated.
