KARL BOWERS 11BU GCSE COURSEWORK INVESTIGATION: DEAL COURSEWORK Introduction On the 20/05/04, our geography class travelled to Deal Beach in the southwest of England in preparation for our year 10/11 geography coursework. Before we had arrived at our destination, we had to consider the location that we chose for the investigation to take place. We chose Deal because it is situated in a particular location where long shore drift approaches in two different locations. It is the best location to study long shore drift since Deal receives L.D from both the north and the south, and is therefore a key location to study which direction is more dominant. We also chose Deal because it had two different locations in which we could test the different aims of our investigation.
