You may refer to the following agencies: ILO, FAO, UNESCO, IMF, WHO. The UN set up many different agencies, some very similar to those set up by the League. These agencies had the same aims of providing peace throughout the world and attempting to deal with issues such as poverty and hunger, which are the consequences of war. The Un set up the ILO, which tries to protect workers all over the world and it also teaches people skills to enable them to support themselves. It has produced agreements on such matters as the proper inspection of labour conditions in agriculture, paid holidays, minimum wages, youth employment and training schemes for industrial development.
