Should boxing be banned?

... Should boxing be banned? When this topic came up I was quite happy, as I had tried boxing before in a boxing club in Belfast for a couple of months. I really enjoyed it, as it was good for getting me fit, self-disciplined and for self-defence. Some of my classmates think that it should be banned but I disagree as I have been there and have seen from first hand what goes on in the ring. User Reviews of this Essay

What our users think of this essay:

"Some good points here, but I feel that the essay is excessively affected by the author's admitted bias. A number of points are made with minimal justification, instead being simple assertions - this is evident from the fact that many of the paragraphs consist of single sentences. Considerable improvements could be gained from making the essay more balanced and from a deeper consideration of the reasons why the stated points are valid. I also feel that structurally the essay is weak in places - while it's good that the paragraphs do not become excessively long, this has gone to the opposite extreme and many are very short. This creates a rather haphazard structure as the various arguments don't really flow well into the overall structure. The final paragraph is a good example of a similar effect, with a large number of *very* short sentences. TSR User: Illusionary"
