Recent Reviews of Pre-1900 Essays

What our users think of the Pre-1900 essays in this section:

"There is often innapropriate and incorrect useage of technical language and the analysis of Frayn's intentions, I feel, is childish and misunderstood. Yet in places this essay makes some incisive comments and does illustrate an understanding of Mrs Hayward's function, however this is somewhat limited."

"A very pleasing essay! A pleasure to read. The structure of the essay is sound and clear, the argument evolves naturally and your logic is clear and backed up with a decent amount of evidence - I think, perhaps, that you may actually run the risk of having not enough quotes at points - while your vocabulary is evidently well stocked and well utilised. I must say, however, perhaps the introduction isn't as focused as I would like - it took two careful readings to fully grasp what was going on. However, I must confess that I'm searching for these faults because it is a sublime essay. TSR User: chidona"

"This essay is not brilliant, it lacks quotes and the explanations given could be in more depth. It's a tad disorganised and the conclusion doesn't really conclude much. The grammar isn't all that either. However, it raises some good points that I hadn't considered before. 3/5"
