War coursework The poster and the poem are different as well as similar. They are the same because they are both about war. They are different because they have different attitudes towards war. The attitude of the poem is angry and bitter. The poem is written in an angry tone and uses angry language such as "drowning" and "hags". The poem seems like it is almost warning people not to go to war and telling people not to fall for that lie about its being a good thing to die for your country. The poem seems like it is putting the reader of the idea of war and it almost seems like the poet is telling the reader what war is really like.
