"Saving Private Ryan" I recently watched the successful film "Saving Private Ryan" which was directed by Steven Spielberg. It was a film that I thoroughly enjoyed and it shall not be easy to forget as it had a great impact on me. The film gave me an insight on the soldier's feelings and the bravery they showed by putting their lives at risk for their country. The film gives you inspiration on how soldiers from both sides of the conflict felt and their struggle for self-survival while sticking together. The film is a tribute to the veteran's of the Normandy landings in June 1944. The two main characters of the film were Tom Hanks who played the leading role of Captain Miller and Matt Damon who played the role of Private Ryan.
