This source tells us that it is unreliable due to the conditions in this source. This advert looks in a very good condition with no shell holes and craters; you can see this by the condition of the trench and no mans land. In the back of this advert you can see artillery, which is way to close to the front line. One soldier in the trench is standing up with a pack of cigarettes; if they were about to go over the top he would have been snipered. A soldier about to go over the top would not have a cigarette while attacking the Germans. In this source they have no sand bags and barbed wire in front of the trench. The sand bags would...
