To Compare and Contrast how the reality of war has been presented from the Crimean War to the end of World War One The Poems I shall be using to compare are 'The Charge of the light brigade' by Alfred Lord Tennyson, 'The Soldier' by Robert Brooke and 'Dulce et Decorum est' by Wilfred Owen. All the poems are of different styles and represent different opinions of the poets. Firstly I will examine the poems in order to compare how the presentation of war has changed from Crimean war to the end of World War one. 'The Charge of the light brigade' is one of the best known examples of the heroism and stupidity of war.
