Soldier This war has been going on for three brutal, monsterous, barbarous, blood thirsty, cruel, ferocious, heartless, inhumain, mercilles years. All I have seen is death, nobody has been seen with a smile for the last two to three months, a sight I have become oh so cruely used to in the days gone by. God, why god have you let me see this pain and anguish that will never leave my scared memory. When this war began I was twenty one and the thought of serving my country was too good to pass up. I felt an overwhelming sence of joy and above all patrionism that cannot be put into words.
