War is an emotive subject with reference to the poems you have read explain the poets differing views of this subject Paul Burrows In this essay I am going to explain the poets views on war. 'The Charge Of The Light Brigade','Soldiers','Dulce Et Decorum Est','Why Patriots Are So Nuts In The Head' are the poems I have read. These four poems represent different s of war; they portray their views by use of language. One poem is written on the Crimean war, two on the First World War and one in war in general. 'The Charge Of The Light Brigade' is about the Crimean War. It is a famous regiment of 600 men only the best soldiers had horses as they had to be shipped over seas.
