English Jess Eleini Having read "Charge of the light Brigade', imagine you are one of the survivors and tell your story of survival. I can paint no pretty picture of life in the Army, in the loneliness and confusion of a chaotic world, because one finds much hard work and sacrifice and little tranquility. I wish I could forget those endless harrowing hours. Hours of waiting, anticipating and fighting. I still had not grown accustomed to seeing people torn by savages and bleeding and dying in numbers like these. But I can tell you this.... my story of survival, how I managed to over come the death line, how I fought for my live among many others. Death was commonplace, on occasions when a soldier put down his guard for a second and stood in the trench. Russian snipers would shoot him down, although we would gladly return the favor...
