The two poems lord tennysons "The Charge Of The Light Brigade" and wilfred owens "Dulce Et Decorum Est" are two poems that capture the experience of war. But that is the only similarities. Lord Tennyson, writing from england about the the battle of balaclava (Britain v's Russia in 1854), Talks about the glory of war and celebrates heroism. On the other hand the poem "Dulce et Decorum Est" by wilfred Owens, describes the horrific and devastating parts of world war one in 1914 which makes light brigade glorious and Dulce devastating. This is a major difference Lord Tennyson uses a number of techniques to show his views on war....
