Comparative Essay on the different ways in which different writers from different centuries approach the subject of war Between the two story's which are a tradition of 1804 and The darkness out there are many points of comparison for example the first point being the similarities between the stories being which there is a story within a story and these story's are perceived differently by the two writers because of the technological differences between the times for example in liveley's time there are planes and bombers and the war is fought on air and on sea while in hardy's time they fight on land with horses and guns or just in simple terms man-to-man combat.
