Choose one poem to study where you found the way which it is written as interesting as what it was about Battle of Blenheim The style of the poem is a balled, it tell a story to an upbeat rhythm of rhyme and structured verses. Each of the characters carry great significant and work together in helping convey the intended message. The jolly, fast paced beat at the start is misleading to the rest of the poem, the discovery of something 'Large, smooth and round' is very deceptive as it gives false hopes of a somewhat light hearted poem. Finding this shows the innocence and purity of Wilhelmine and Peterkin as they are clueless about the objects true identity, a skull showing the degrading the degrading of value of human life. This purity is continued as they 'stood expectant by'. Ironically, being a little child they expect treasure, which it isn't;...
