Romeo and Juliet Shakespeare opens with Act 1 Scene 1to show the audience the feud between the Capulet and the Montague's two families who can't stand the sight of each other. Shakespeare includes a lot of puns and innuendos that the servants exchange to each other. They make sexual comments about the women fighting this adds to the humour to the scene. The fight scene adds a sense of tension between the characters which also makes the audience tense. When Benvolio enters the scene we see him as a peacekeeper and someone to trust he tries to calm things down with the rivals. Shakespeare include tablet to add a sense of evil to the scene because Tybalt is not willing to give up he is a very strong character.
