T.I.E - Love play assessment By Sue Spolander My practical work in December 2002- January 2003 was for option 4. It was a piece of improvisation work and was based on the theme of love. The play that we direct our selves had to depict love in some form. There were many ways to approach this task as love can be portrayed in many ways and there are various kinds of love. The type of love we based our play on was the love between a mother and her children; and how a child loves it's mother no matter what circumstances the child is put in. My contribution to the performance was a drunken abusive mother. I had to show I didn't care about my two daughters but I still loved them even though I didn't show it.
