Examine in Detail one Scene Where Romeo and Juliet Express Their Love for Eachother. How Does Shakespeare's Language Reveal Their Different Attitudes to Love? The scene I am examining is Act 2 Scene 2 (the balcony scene), where Romeo and Juliet express their love for each other for the first time alone. This is appealing to the audience as it demonstrates how seriously in love the pair are, and it opens the audience's imaginations to love at first sight. Whilst alone on her balcony Juliet speaks about Romeo in a very romantic and heart felt way, demonstrating how much she loves him even though she doesn't really know him at all, and also her anger towards the fact that she loves Romeo when she is expected to hate him.
