Discuss the importance of dramatic effects in Act2, Scene2 of Romeo and Juliet, how does this scene prepare the audience for what is to come later in the play. In this play Shakespeare uses dramatic effect to un-lock different options to the reader, he gives you a choice in what to believe caused the eventual deaths of Romeo and Juliet, it could be one of three things, fate, accident, or wilfulness. Shakespeare uses the balcony scene in Act 1, Scene 2 of Romeo and Juliet to create an influence on the audience's interpretation of what is to come. Romeo's language is overly dramatic, he uses Juliet as a manifestation of himself, words' such as sun and light are used to describe the emotion between them, Romeo on his first meeting with Juliet is entirely betrothed, he has lost his heart, and Juliet sighs out her new love almost painfully as...
