At the beginning of the play the words Shakespeare uses puts across the impression that Macbeth is a heroic and noble man. He is brave for his country and still has good morals that are important to him. During the beginning of the play Shakespeare writes that he is so brave and loyal to the king that he awards Macbeth with the highest honour the thane of Cawdor. This shows that Macbeth is extremely loyal to the king and to Scotland and is proud to be: What he hath lost, noble Macbeth hath won.
