How does the passage contribute to your view of the relationship between Antony and Cleopatra? The entire scene is a whirlwind experience from start to finish; Antony appears to be completely out of control throughout, launching off into long, extravagant, venom-filled speeches that convey the pure malice he must be feeling towards Cleopatra, however, Cleopatra's short lines consisting of only a few words set the balance of the scene slightly off kilt, her only having one long speech, whilst informing the audience more and more about their relationship. Cleopatra's first line 'Have you done yet?' shows to the audience her clear understanding of Antony's character, previous to this line Antony had begun his ranting and raving, frightening many of his servants by his uncontrollable behaviour, yet Cleopatra is able to simply stand there and sigh, her choice of words indicate she presumes that Antony is just going through a phase, that...
