Dear Nicole, First of all congratulations on getting the part of George Bernard Shaw's classic play of Pygmalion. This is not like the usual fantastic sequences you are in but you were the first person who came to our mind when we mentioned the role of Eliza Doolittle. The play involves a young lady living off of the money she receives selling flowers from her basket. You, as Eliza, will be playing this part. She meets two Englishmen who bet they could convert this girl to a beautiful, well-spoken young lady in just six months. The play is very much determined by the class system. Eliza, being poor and living in the streets is low in the system whereas Mrs Eynsford Hill who is considered as comfortably off is in the middle part of the system.
