MALVERN COLLEGE -- A microcosm of the multi-cultural world Malvern College, as a 'global village' that we live in, provides us with a multi-cultural community which opens us up to experience that those who study in a local school will never have. For the foreign pupils, there is no doubt that when they study in a foreign country, with its different language and culture, this can be a frustrating and sometimes painful experience. But while overseas study has its drawbacks, the difficulties are far outweighed by the advantages. Indeed, people who go abroad for study will be more desirable in their job market. The most obvious advantage to them is real-life use of a different language. While a person can study a foreign language in his or her own country, it cannot compare with the constant use of the language in academic and everyday life. There is no...
