I have wanted to read it for many years, mostly because I have heard good reviews and partly because I have a liking for anything 'science fiction', but I have never gotten round to it. I now realise how much I was missing out. It also struck me how unusual it is in the sense that many books go on to become dramatised in film, television or radio, but I can't remember a single one that started life as a radio piece, then became a book and then became a television show.
