In this article the role of WTO for providing a level playing field has been questioned. The main aim of WTO Agreement on Agriculture (AoA) was to encourage fair trade in agriculture by removing trade distortions resulting from differential levels of input subsidies, price and market support, export subsidy and other kinds of trade distorting support.
