Pygmalion Essay In this essay, I will be addressing the question "Is the ending really an ending?" This will include a short review of the ending, my opinion, reasons for my opinion and then a conclusion to finally see if the ending is satisfactory. At the end of the book, we find that Eliza has chosen to marry Freddy, rather than take up Higgins' offer of marriage and financial security. Then, in the epilogue, we find that after the play Eliza and Freddy set up a flower shop and still visit Higgins and Pickering. But, I believe that this ending is not a very good one, even including the epilogue. Also, there is the issue of opinion. While some people may find the ending a good choice, some people such as women may want a happy ending, involving Higgins showing his true feelings for Eliza and marrying her, which...
