Hannah Suthren Dance Coursework Essay. Once I'd chosen question four, I decided not only to research the icicle sculpture on its own, but also the way in which Goldsworthy approaches his creations. In order to do this, I researched on the internet on the following sites for information, • www.hamline.edu/see/goldsworthy • www.smithsonianmag.si.edu • www.rolandcollection.co.uk The sites showed a range of Goldsworthy sculptures, including the icicle - these varied from leaves to ice. There was also a variety of information as to how Goldsworthy physically creates his sculptures. By using his hands to actually mould the natural materials into a sculpture which represents a natural structure.
