How would you perform the character of Masha in the first act and how would you want the audience to respond. Masha is the middle sister she stands out from the other sisters because they are really optimistic, whereas Masha seems to be much more of a negative character due to being married to a man she doesn't love. She reads books a lot to distance herself from her sisters. The books are like her escapism where she can be in a world of her own. Masha seems to look at the world sadly in the first act she keeps herself to herself and hardly talks to anyone to show her sisters and everyone else around her she is not happy with life. She is a very daring person as she is very outspoken and has a non caring attitude and says what she likes to others. I think...
