Top Girls Form and Structure The structure of Top Girls does not follow any pattern. Churchill begins with the Content and then follows with Form. The traditional structure of plays is discarded such as the common written by male writers where there is a steady build-up to a climax. Therefore there is chronological development of main heroic character and secondary characters. The action does not lead to a climax followed by a end and resolving of issues. Top Girls is a series of thought provoking scenes shown in an open-ended way. There is nothing fixed or stereotyped. Churchill's approach is very different and leaves questions open for audience's own analysis. Top Girls is divided into three Acts. It begins with an creative dream scene in a restaurant.
