My practical work, performed at the John Bramston School, was called "The Boyfriend". It took place on the 24th, 25th and 26th of March 2004. It is a musical play written by Sandy Wilson in 1953. All of this was organized by the music and drama departments of the school and was a great sensation to the whole cast as well as my self. In this I will talk about the background of the play as well as the comparison between another play similar to "The Boyfriend" called "Salad Days". This is to enable you to understand "The Boyfriend" better and to see the differences between the way of life and civilization within these areas. My contribution to the production was as the flirtatious, influential, French headmistress Madame Dubonnet. For this I had to get into the role of speaking on stage with a French accent.
