Claire Underhill June 2005 Compare two trailers for the same or opposite films, exploring the similarities and differences between them and their effects on an audience. I will be discussing the similarities and differences in the two film trailers. I will also discuss the effect they have on the audience by looking at lighting, images, music, actors, characters, special effects, editing/speed, dialogue and any other information given. The two trailers I will look at are 'Return to Me' and 'The Matrix.' In the first trailer, Return to Me, it showed scenes of family and friends together. From the trailer I interpreted that the genre was a romantic comedy. This is because the trailer showed the actors making constant jokes which show comedy and also two characters falling in love with each other by the end which showed the romantic side. The effect it had on the me was that it looked a fairly good...
