Amrit Dulkoan 10R 27th June 2001 1 Compare the Opening Scenes of the Two Film Versions of Lord of the Flies Golding's novel 'Lord of the Flies' explored the outcomes of what would happen when a group of young adolescent boys were stranded by themselves without adult authority and rules; the outcome of this was truly amazing. Among those who end up on the island are Ralph who was elected as a leader from the start, Jack the head chorister of his choir who from the beginning is unhappy about not being voted to take charge and also the character Piggy who is not given much respect but proves to be very intelligent. Jack turns his choir group into a set of hunters and soon enough, chaos breaks out on the island even leading to the death of two boys. The first film version of 'Lord of the Flies' was produced...
