Comment on how the opening 5/6 minutes of Paramount's 1969 version of 'The Italian Job' compares to the 2003 version Paramount have created two versions of 'The Italian Job' in the past thirty years. The 1969 version is based on the story written by Troy Kennedy, featuring Michael Caine as Charlie Crocker the main protagonist who plays the role of the mastermind and is then played by Mark Wahlberg in the 2003 version. The 2003 version of 'The Italian Job' is a straight forward update of the 1969 but can not replace it, and is made for modern audiences, with updated technology and cars. The 1969 version of 'The Italian Job' opens in the quiet Italian Alps, with a bright blue sky and the audience are lead round the ever winding mountain roads and tunnels by a red sports car which creates suspense, the audience is left wondering what can possible...
