Drama Coursework A number of strategies were used to explore "Our Day Out," and to develop techniques and strategies, which would be appropriate to use. One of the main ways we explored the plays potential were explorative strategies. We used a great many explorative strategies, to good affect, and it is my belief that my performance was greatly enhanced by using these techniques. We used hot-seating to explore our characters. After we learned of our character's personality, we aimed to perfect it by immersing ourselves in somebody else's mind. We became that person. Hot seating enables us to perfect this skill, which helps us to empathise with the character and therefore become more convincing in performance.
