Media studies homework Intro in this piece of work I will be analysing and comparing two science fiction (Sci -fi) movies. The names of the two movies I will be comparing are men in black and terminator two (MIB) and (T2). The sci-fi Genre has some dominant conventions such as new technology in a lot of sci-fi movies the new technology evolves around time travelling gadgets or weapons. Another dominant convention is computers which probably could have a mind of its own. In sci-fi movies the actual technology used to make the movies has advanced dramatically which makes sci-fi films even better with computer generated images (CGI). Main part MIB and T2 are both sci-fi films I can tell this because of generic conventions in MIB the storyline is based around aliens living on earth it is then followed up by two humans having to save the earth.
