The Importance Finding a Solution to Fix the Medicare Program Introduction The Medicare program was created to protect the elderly against financial difficulties that would arise from hospital and medical bills. As the average life expectancy increase and life prolonging discoveries are made. The program will not longer be able to provide adequate healthcare benefits for the elderly. In this paper, I'll be addressing the flaws of the Medicare system, current controversies, and suggested solutions towards fixing this problem, especially since the Medicare program needs to be remodeled in order to provide better medical benefits for the elderly.
