1. Abstract This report compares and evaluates two different system life cycles. The two system life cycles are the waterfall system life cycle and the incremental system life cycle. The incremental system life cycle is more suitable for medium sized projects that are risky and complex because the incremental method is flexible unlike the waterfall method that is suited for small non-complex and non-risky projects. The incremental method can be risky because the stages are not set out one after the other like the waterfall system life cycles stages are. This can cause the project to be over budget and over schedule but because of its structure time is saved on testing because testing is done at every stage. This means that maintenance will be less because there will be less errors and defects. The waterfall system life cycle can also be risky but not as much as the incremental method. This is...
