Input Inputs are devices on a computer that require human interface or some type of data to be sent to computer to do. Examples are a keyboard, mouse, scanner, game pad etc. Output Outputs are devices that don't involve human interaction. This could be that they display information or give something to the human eg. Monitor, printer etc. ROM Read-only memory (ROM) is a class of storage media used in computers and other electronic devices. Because it cannot (easily) be written to, its main uses lie in the distribution of firmware (software that is very closely related to hardware, and not likely to need frequent upgrading). RAM Random-access Memory refers to data storage formats and equipment that allow the stored data to be accessed in any order, at random, not just in sequence.
