Analyse I have decided to use a computerised system to solve my auntie's problems instead of a manual solution. I have chosen this because I think the computerised system will be more efficient in helping her business. Which software will I use and why? There are many pieces of software that I can use. I have decided to use Microsoft excel XP a spreadsheet program that specialises in budgeting and calculations. I have decided to use this because it allows me to have multiple sheets containing different data, and it also allows me to use and transfer data between the different sheets. There are many different formulas I can use, such as the IF formula and the LOOKUP formula.
