Stakeholders Stakeholders are individuals and groups of people who have an interest at stake in the business. In the business sometimes their interests are the same. Different businesses have different stakeholders. There are many stakeholders in J-Sainsbury's. These are the local community; the local communities are the consumers for the supermarket. J-Sainsbury needs a large workforce to work for them, so the local communities provide the labour supply for J-Sainsbury's. If J-Sainsbury's was to move to another location or close down, the local community will be directly affected as the unemployment will rise up and trade will also suffer in the community because J-Sainsbury's rely on local trade, this means more of there sales will be made by the local community, and so the local community will go to supermarkets to do there shopping instead of small shops.
