STAG Case Study 1. Business ethics are the values and morals which companies take into account when making decisions. Making an ethical decision is doing what is right. However the views of what is ethical vary from company to company and therefore what may be deemed as right to one company may be seen as unethical to another company. The environment and the personal upbringing affect the views of ethics. In the case of stag they thought that charging higher prices was unethical and therefore lowered their prices. This opened the availability to more farmers. (5) 2. One of businesses main objectives is to make a profit, it is pretty pointless being in business and making a loss. Profit is important in that it will allow companies to re-invest in their business and extend their product ranges.
