Corporate Finance is concerned with the efficient and effective management of the finances of an organisation, thus achieving its objectives. The main problem often found by financial managers is how they can secure a great return in relevance to small risk. This is to be achieved by using the appropriate tools and techniques. The role of financial management involves the planing and controlling of the provision of resources (how funds are to be obtained), the allocation of these resources (how to deploy them) and the control of these resources (if funds are being used properly). In other words, buy assets that generate more cash than what they cost and sell bonds and stock that raises more money than what they originally cost.
