How to recruit a salesperson? Sales manager's responsibility is to manage an efficient and productive sales team ensuring sales volume. It does not matter how good marketing strategies are, sales are won by peak salespeople. Recruiting is critical to the success of the company. Hiring the wrong salesperson, it may cost the company low productivity if he/she is not a top performer and economic loss (salary, training and associated expenses) if he/she leaves the company after few months. For this, sales managers had taken up new strategy to continuously recruit peak salesperson. Most managers would place an advertisement in the local papers and hope for applicants. This method is least effective; high performing sales people is employed and unlikely to response to these to these advertisements.
