How is conflict resolved in organisation? What role can managers have on that? An organization is successful when all the participants involved: workers, administration, managers can work together to perform one common goal. However the larger the organization gets the harder it is for this common goal to be attained among the many participants as there is an increase in conflicts due to increasing differences between the many participants' agendas, perceptions, personalities and values. In this essay I will discuss what elements are involved in negotiations to attempt to alleviate the conflict of interest between two parties by finding a solution that is agreed upon as better than any other alternative by both and how managers use negotiation in running an organization.
