The Gasoline line prices seem to fluctuate on a day-to-day basis while Natural gas prices seem to be skyrocketing. According to The Federal Trade Commission (2005), many factors influence fluctuations in the prices that U.S. consumers pay for gasoline at their local gas station. The Federal Trade Commission examines a wide range of gasoline price factors - including the cost of crude oil, increasing national and international demand, and federal, state, and local regulations - all which influence the prices consumers pay at the pump.
