This means that, when the plant is created, it will create a greater amount of electricity and therefore put supply and demand back near equilibrium, the point on a supply and demand curve where both the amount consumers want and producers are willing to make is the same, based on the pattern of supply and demand. The demand for electricity in Wisconsin grows 3% every year and is expected to surpass supply by the year 2010.
