According to the Norwegian Shipping Society of Plymouth (NSSP)1; only one Norwegian entered the Maritime Business, which was a second year student. No Norwegians entered the first year. And that is the first time in fifteen years. If one takes into consideration that the tuition fee for a Norwegian student are £ 6990, - comparing to the other EU student which pays £ 1150,- And that Norway is a significant shipping nation with long traditions on this field. Norwegian student are further on the only ones doing Maritime Business which have a society, promoting the university by getting one visiting speaker from the maritime industry each year. This is a win; win situation...
